, is a question that I have sought to understand over the years. It’s a question which I could never settle on in my own personal and professional life. However, after much introspection, I found that the answer is simply this, I am “just Deraj.” I’m an average guy with an above average passion for visual arts, audio production & songwriting. I love being creative. I love to create things you can “see” and “hear“. This is a part of who I am and shows forth in what I do.
Now not to deceive anyone, “Deraj” is actually NOT my real name……well not really. Deraj is a rap alias I’ve gone by for a few years, which is actually my real name, Jared, spelled backwards. And so my aim with this site is to have a platform where I can help others continue to learn, create, & grow, as well as candidly share thoughts and things that inspire.
