You were always one of the chosen few, showing me how to live holy, helping me when I’m going through all these thangs, I just want to show you my gratitude, telling you I really love you and I’m glad that I have you, I wish there was a way to repay you, instead I’ll just say to you everything engraved on my heart and what’s on my mind, you help me be a man of integrity and help me back to the cross, and my savior who bled for me, cause, you help me recognize what’s inside of me and you let me pull on the gift that’s been resting inside of you all the time, I’m praying that the Lord will continually give you grace cause its sufficient for missions and ministry, I pray that this is making its way to you, I hope its making your day and everything that I say to you cause, you are like a light that’s been guiding me, helping me to realize that there’s a light that inside of me too

I wrote this second verse for my mother, just want to tell her that I love her cause she gave me much more than my pretty eyes, you were so persistent and patience, waiting and praying for the day I would seek regeneration so I could have, all the joy the Lord had to offer me when you could have given up, cut the cord and aborted me, but you chose to give life to what was inside of you, you said when you looked in my eyes you were given the grace to know love, I’m thankful how you always would cover me, even if it was a hug it would help discover what’s on my mind, I just want to show you my gratitude cause you put up with a lot dealing with all of my attitudes I, know there’s so much that can discourage me but I’m thankful that the Lord gave you a heart to encourage me, you are like a light that’s been guiding me, helping me to realize that there’s a light that inside of me too
